Doing good and inspiring people of good will to donate
The Langley Rotary Clubs Charitable Foundation was formed on November 7, 2012. Its founding vision was “doing good in the Langleys and beyond”, its mission “to inspire people of good will to donate.”
The LRCCF is the financial umbrella of the four Langley-area Rotary clubs: The Rotary Club of Aldergrove, the Langley Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Langley Central and the Rotary Club of Langley Sunrise. Each club appoints three delegates to the LRCCF board. There is also the Langley Satellite Rotary Club (attached to Langley Central).
The four clubs have hosted six very successful RibFests under the LRCCF umbrella, annually in August at Langley’s McLeod Athletic Park. RibFest 2026 will run August 14-16 at the same venue. Another recently created, very successful event — the four clubs’ Langley Hoop-A-Thon — will move from 2024-25 events at the Aldergrove Community Secondary School to Trinity Western University on June 6, 2026.
Donations to the LRCCF are eligible for Canadian tax receipts.
Please give generously to help the many needs of our Langley-area community. Thank you!
Projects
Langley RibFest
RibFest Langley is a major collaborative effort by the four Langley-area Rotary clubs and is our biggest annual fundraiser.
Sassy Awards
The SASSY awards (Service Above Self Student Youth) is sponsored by the four Rotary Clubs for young people aged 15-21 living and/or studying in the Langleys.
Starfish Backpacks
Children cannot learn when they’re very hungry. The Aldergrove and Sunrise clubs supply more than 100 backpacks of food and supplies for schoolkids to take home at the weekend. Sometimes the food has to be shared among a large family, such is the need despite the relative affluence
of our community.
